On March 22th, the "First Lesson in 2022" in the School of Aerospace Engineering was held in the Lecture hall of iHarbour. More than 500 undergraduate and graduate students participated in this event. The first lesson aims to introduce the historical evolution, educational characteristics, scientific research achievements, and future development of School of Aerospace Engineering to students, inspiring them to become responsible and innovative outstanding talents. Undergraduates also visited the State Key Laboratory, the Digital Exhibition Hall of iHarbour and the Museum of Higher Engineering Education. The students who participated in the activity expressed they benefitted greatly, feeling the beautiful environment and strong academic atmosphere in iHarbour, Xi’an Jiaotong University, as well as the importance and expectations for key disciplines and talent cultivation. They expressed their intention to set an example of outstanding alumni and outstanding teachers and students around them, to be diligent, eager to learn, proactive, and make contributions to the aerospace industry of our country in the future.
